We were delighted to host the second edition of the Barcelona Golf Invitational, proudly presented by Voly and BOAT.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Camiral Golf & Wellness in Barcelona, the event began in style as guests from across the global yachting community arrived throughout the day.

Yacht owners, captains, crew, and industry professionals came together at one of Spain’s most prestigious golf resorts for an unforgettable two-day programme designed to foster connections and camaraderie - on and off the course.

Day One: Welcome Reception

The event teed off with a vibrant Welcome Cocktail Reception, with music, fine refreshments, and great conversation set the tone. Friends and partners of Voly and BOAT International mingled and reconnected, enjoying a relaxed evening ahead of the tournament. The atmosphere was exciting, as laughter and anticipation for the golf cup tournament filled the air.

Day Two: Golf

An early start on day two began with the Golf Cup Briefing and Warm-Up Clinic, where we were honoured to welcome special guest professional golfer and three time DP World champion Ewan Ferguson, who generously shared expert insights and tips with our guests - setting the stage for a day of top-tier golf.

The 18-hole Golf Cup was packed with energy, fun, and friendly competition. Teams brought their A-game, while those not on the course enjoyed socialising and networking in the beautiful surroundings. A well-earned break at the Halfway House provided lunch and refreshments before players completed the final stretch of the tournament.

Evening Celebration & Prize Giving

As the sun dipped below the horizon, guests gathered for an unforgettable evening of celebration at the Prize Giving Ceremony and barbecue, capping off a spectacular day of competition. The atmosphere was electric as the tournament's top performers were honoured, with cheers, laughter, and camaraderie echoing through the evening.

Voly Crew Solutions clinched the prestigious Golf Cup, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork.

Pendennis Shipyard followed closely in second place, while Gallagher and TWW Yacht Management shared a well-earned third.

Individual brilliance was also on full display:

Hamilton Kavanagh of BOAT International and Jack Rapp of South Wake Capital triumphed in the Beat the Pro challenge.
Sam Tucker of Moravia Yachting took home the title for Nearest the Pin.
His colleague Tim Carbury delivered an impressive performance to win The Longest Drive.
Lucy Smith of Y.CO was awarded Most Improved Player in the social programme, a testament to her dedication and progress.

As awards were handed out and glasses were raised, the evening seamlessly transitioned into a high-spirited after-party. Guests celebrated late into the night, creating memories that will last well beyond the final round of golf.
